Hanging with grandma

Mike went to Connecticut today for work so Lilly and I are bumming around at my parents house for a few days. Lucky him he gets to get out of this awful heat. Had to bring along Leia and Isabel as well, grandma just loves it, hehe. She is hosting Bunco at her house tomorrow and I am going to help her out, can't wait.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday, it's so cool that it falls on 8-9-10 this year! Going to dinner with friends and family tonight at P.F. Changs. I am sooo busy at work today to, don't they know its my birthday and I shouldn't have to work.

Girls Night Out

I had so much fun at Melinda and Cristie's studio last night for their first Girls Night Out event for Silver Image Photography. It was a great way to get together with ladies and SHOP! The event raised money for the American Diabetes Association. I bought a Scentsy warmer and love my new scent, vanilla walnut, yummy! Melinda took some crazy photos for us and will have them on Facebook soon, I can't wait to see them. They do amazing work if anyone is interested.

Poker Night

Since we always do more girly things the guys decided it was time to do something manly without the girls. They decided to start a poker night and this past friday was there first game. They had a blast and have already planned there next game and football schedule. I'm happy that Mike finally can get some guy time. Well, since they played at our house Lilly and I went to my parents house for the evening so we wouldn't bother them. My cousin Melissa and Sarah were in town for a baby shower for Melissa's 6 week old son Joseph. What a cutie, him and Lilly are 8 weeks apart and he is already bigger than her. Poor baby was not feeling well, he has acid reflux and problems pooping. It was great to see them together again. I can't wait till they are crawling and walking around together.

First Post

So I finally did it! I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now and since Stephanie said it was so easy I thought why not. :) It really was quit simple after I figured out how to add a picture. There are so many cute layouts it took me forever to choose the perfect one though.

I'm not quite sure what I will be writing about. Probably mostly about Lilly since she is my everything right now. Hopefully this will keep family and friends informed (if they care to read it) about what goes on in our everyday lives.
